Secondo VideoCardz , AMD annuncerà FSR 2.0 e lancerà RSR il 17 marzo, sei giorni prima della presentazione della GDC 2022.
Like CapFrameX, VideoCardz also claims that FSR 2.0 will offer similar, and sometimes better than, native image quality using temporal data and optimized anti-aliasing. What’s more, it won’t require special machine learning hardware, so older AMD cards can also support it. The list of compatible GPUs has not yet been released, but AMD should release one shortly after the announcement. Like the original FSR, version 2.0 is supposed to be open source and run on graphics cards from Nvidia and Intel.
As for RSR, this technology is very similar to FSR, but it works at the driver level. The upscaling technology is expected to be available in an upcoming driver scheduled to launch on March 17, and will likely work across all games. However, you will need a Radeon RX 5000 series graphics card or later.
