During the Minecraft Live 2021 broadcast , it was shown that the best way to defeat the Guardian is to sneak around the boss while attacking. Combined with the new Swift Sneak boots enchantment , you can quickly run away from the Guardian without even knowing it.
As for how to kill the Guardian, it’s best to sneak out and hide behind a closed structure. You can then lure the Guardian by throwing throwables such as arrows, snowballs, or eggs. When he appears, use your bow to shoot arrows at him. You can also use your sword, but it won’t be the safest option. Defeat the Soul Screamer
Once you can slowly slip past the soul screamer, use your regular pickaxe to destroy it. If you have a silk touch enchantment, you can even raise a soul screamer by acquiring it. However, by placing it back in the deep dark biome, the Guardian can be summoned.
